Kellyn & Joe | Dobbin St Brooklyn Wedding

Kellyn and Joe really  wanted to have their ceremony on the rooftop of Dobbin St, and they did indeed have it there. You would think that this is totally normal, but it was actually a bit of a challenge seeing how it was absolutely pouring by the time their ceremony rolled around! However, these two truly went with it, and it definitely made for a memorable day for everyone involved! I kept saying it during our afternoon portrait session, but I was so happy that Kellyn and Joe were up for playing in the rain–and it was only drizzling at that point! It wasn’t until it started really coming down that I saw just how hardcore and game they were. And that is what I absolutely fell in love with with these two. Their unwavering dedication to their vision of the wedding mirrored their steadfastness and dedication to one another.

Even though it was wet and cold outside, the ceremony felt warm and sweet. Kellyn and Joe were surrounded by people who were happy to brave the weather for them, which was so wonderful to see. There was a lot of teamwork at this wedding, and it made everything fall into place beautifully.

Kellyn and Joe, it was so much fun working with you two–thank you for trusting me in the rain! You know what they say about rain on your wedding day–not Alanis, but everyone else–so you guys are 100% #blessed in your marriage. Beyond that, seeing the way you two are together was so heartwarming. Even though I only got to spend a couple hours with you, I was so touched by your sweet relationship. I’m so so happy for you and I wish you all the wonderfulness in the world as you continue your journey together!
