Cherie & Aline | Autumnal Rooftop Elopement Styled Shoot
When Wild Heights Events and I came up with the idea for this styled shoot, we never imagined it would come together as perfectly as it did! We had less than two weeks to pull it off! We designed a mood board around a triangle arch and an old yellow faux fur jacket in my closet, and it turned into the dreamiest fall-inspired shoot! We gathered incredible vendors to help bring our dreams to reality. We had the most stunning floral arrangements from Lady Pruner, a lovely dress by Mademoiselle de Guise from The Mews Bridal, gorgeous makeup by Simple + Sultry, a beautiful tablescape and arch by Wild Heights Events, all on top of a midtown NYC rooftop.  We were already excited about our setup before our models, Cherie & Aline arrived, but once they got there, we were absolutely elated. They were perfection in every way. When Cherie and Aline look at each other, they are the embodiment of warm, fuzzy love. They’re engaged, but had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic, so this served as a pre-dream day dream day for them! There was even a first look, and some very real tears. Everyone was so joyful and collaborative! Creativity thrived the whole day between all of us, and it was a lesson in what’s possible when people come together and work towards a common goal. It. Was. Perfect.
