Malika & Mustafa | The William Vale, Bushwick, and W Loft Brooklyn Wedding
Malika and Mustafa are such a joy to be around. They have a special love and a positive energy that is contagious. Their wedding day was a stunning one, and the creative vibes were flowing! When I arrived at The William Vale for their first look and saw gorgeous smiling Malika with a golden crown upon her head, I jumped for joy—I knew we were in for a great ride and some beautiful images. When Mustafa saw her for the first time, he just lit up with pure happiness. After their heartfelt first look, we headed to Bushwick for a unique portrait session around House of Yes and the Bushwick Collective. We stumbled upon the Absurd Conclave murals and caught the eye of the artists at Euphoria: Midst Bloom, who invited us in to take some pictures with their art installation. It was one of those magic New York moments. Once we were done in Bushwick, we headed to their ceremony and reception space, The W Loft. The venue was set up beautifully by Dana and Di from Days Desk. Malika and Mustafa recited their vows to each other against expansive views of the city with their closest friends and family. There was a warmth to this group that stemmed from the love shared between Malika and Mustafa. They weathered a true storm to get to their wedding day in so many ways, and finally got to celebrate their love. They are light-filled and their love is easy, and that was felt throughout the day in the little looks, the laughter, and the dancing.
