What’s most important to you right now?
Doing my quiet healing from the inside out while in this hibernation space. To come out of this with more sense of self–being able to stand deeper in my power. I have a great support system here at home; I’m very privileged. It’s been very gracious, this whole opportunity to really dive into my own personal work.
What was most important to you before you had to social distance?
I’ve always been on a path of self-discovery. I had just gone to Joshua Tree and had this beautiful experience with some soul sisters. I was on this path of “what’s next for me?”
What’s the first thing you’ll do when this is over?
I think when it is all said and done and safe, a lot more community time. People. Being able to do a day trip with my sister or my partner and actually go to beaches and parks where there’s people and people feel safe. Connection with other human beings after this is quite important to me.
What are you doing to pass the time?
I’m not passing time. I’m being present. I’m taking time to really feel into moments. Before I was doing a lot of go-go-go and the doing and now I’m in the being state of being present with myself.
What makes you happy right now?
Micro moments. There are so many beautiful moments that happen that before I would have seen and let go. Now, to be able to see really beautiful moments happen in my life that I can share and spread joy that way. I think there’s a community aspect too of sharing as things come up. I find a lot of joy also in kitchen dancing!
What would you tell yourself three months ago with the knowledge you have today?
Chill. Chill out. Try not to be attached to an outcome. I could have never thought this stuff up for this reset period. Where you’re being guided is where you’re meant to be.
