Staying positive. It’s very hard to get those negative thoughts out and [to have] bad mental health. It’s just hard to not get into those deep dark feelings and with a time like this–yes we don’t know if we have the virus or what’s going on right now but we should be happy that we’re safe. We’re talking to the people that we love and care about and in the end everything is going to be okay. It’s scary right now but we’re gonna figure it out and we just need to stay on the bright side and keep being productive and doing things that we wanna do besides just laying in bed and being unhappy. What was most important to you before you had to social distance/quarantine?
Kind of my career–because some things were happening and I was getting really excited about it! I’m starting a dating Podcast which I’m super excited about. I got into this amazing a cappella group, they’re so fierce and I was so excited to start rehearsals and that suddenly just–everything’s on hold. The podcast I can still do for sure, but I was excited cause things were starting to happen and now everything’s kind of on hold. But that’s ok. Everything’s fine.
What’s the first thing you’ll do when this is over?
Honestly I think I might have a drink! I think I might have a drink for the first time in 3 years. Everyone knows I don’t drink but I think that’s a huge fucking celebration. Maybe buy a puppy. I don’t know.
What are you doing to pass the time?
I’m trying to work out every day even if it’s just a run around my parents neighborhood or doing a workout video–that’s for sure every morning. I make my breakfast and I do that cause that keeps my sanity. Trying to talk and FaceTime to as many friends as possible. My parents just ordered me a keyboard so I’m really excited to play the piano again. I was going to fucking lose it if I didn’t! Just trying to do different things. Me and my mom worked on a puzzle yesterday. Just doing little things. Every day is hopefully something different.
What makes you happy right now?
Talking to the people I love.
What would you tell yourself a month ago if you had the knowledge you have now?
Be more thankful for what I have and not complain as much cause there are other people in this world that are struggling way more than I am.
